Huntsville Committee of 100 Endorses Matt Massey for Madison County Schools Superintendent

The Committee of 100, a local organization of 240 business leaders, announced today its endorsement of Matt Massey for re-election as the Madison County School Board Superintendent. Matt will be on the June 5 ballot.

Scott Averbuch, Chairman of the BizPac said, “Matt Massey has led the County School system since 2014.  Since then he has been instrumental in supporting career and college ready preparedness, merit pay for teachers, and tenure reform.  He is working closely with industry to provide workforce experience for all students and closing achievement gaps in all segments of the student population.  We look forward to working with Matt in the coming term and support his efforts to deliver on high-quality public education and set high expectations for achievement.”

Matt Massey on his Committee of 100 endorsement, “Committee of 100 provides strong leadership for Huntsville and Madison County.  These partnerships help us effectively grow our communities. I am honored to have the support of and relationship with the Committee of 100.”

BizPac interviews, endorses and supports candidates for local offices, including Huntsville Mayor and City Council, Madison Mayor and City Council, Huntsville Board of Education, the Madison County Commission, and Madison County Schools Superintendent and Madison County Board of Education.
